May 26- 27, 2007: Parelli Level 1 Clinic with Sharon Lindy

  • Clinic is from 9am to 4pm each day, This is a Sat/Sun weekend before Memorial Day.
  • Consider riding in both the  L1 and L2 clinics for a continuous learning experience, added quality time with your horse and to  receive more thorough instruction of all 4 SAVVYS.
  • Participants can bring horses in a day early but need to leave the farm on Sun after the clinic as  horses will be arriving for the Level 2 clinic. 
  • Equipment (halter, 12 ft. lead and carrot stick) is available for loan if participant needs it.
  • Riders
    • Limited to 10 riders per day
    • Horses must have a Negative Coggins report.
    • Riders must sign releases for Windy Hills Farm and for the instructor and should note that Ohio has an Equine Limited Liability Law and to read posted notices around the farm.
    • Cost is $350 for the two day clinic
      • Clinic, stabling, bedding and facility use included
      • Hay is available for $2.50/bale. 
      • Electric and water hookups and restroom/showers are available for campers for a flat fee of $25.
      • Efficiency apt is available for rent for $50/night or $25/per person, maximum 3 persons.

  • Secure your opportunity to ride in this clinic by sending a deposit of $175 by Feb 1st in a check made payable to Jackie Fokes at

            Athens, Ohio  45701.
  • Feb 1st is earliest postmark date to accept deposits.  Send then to assure your participation.
  • Deposits are non-refundable if qualified replacement person is not available.  A wait list will be maintained. 
  • Second payment is due 60 days prior to clinc. (March 26)
  • Maps and lodging information will be mailed to participants.
  • Include your name, address, phone, email, Parelli level studying, age if youth rider, age/breed of your horse and size of your rig (for parking plan).

    • Cost -$5 SAVVY Club discount per day
      • $30 per person per day
      • $50 for two days
       
  • Participants need to bring their own lunch, drinks and snacks.   An evening meal will be arranged for the group on Sat.

Sharon Lindy is a Parelli endorsed three-star instructor from Valley View, Texas.  We have hosted her clinics  several times in the past.  She provides a wealth of helpful feedback and instruction.   Sharon has had ample experience with gaited breeds including many hours of assisting us with our Paso Fino horses with excellent results.
